Rent from a variety of kayaks. Singles or XL if you're bringing some gear, like a backpack or dry bag. Choose a tandem if you're bringing a lot of gear or planning to camp overnight on the river

Rent or bring your own paddleboard for extra room to spread out and work on your balance. But plan on doing it for 4-6 hours!

Jump in the water, but keep in mind the water comes out of the dam at a chilly 47 degrees!

There are plenty of beaches and washes where you can stop and rest. Bring food, water, and plenty of sunscreen.

Visit ancient petroglyphs

This quarter-mile hike starting at petroglyph beach is well worth the effort.

Ducks, herons, trout, wild horses, mountain goats are all commonly seen on this stretch of the Colorado River

Meet your boat at Lees Ferry, where you can be transported to the Glen Canyon Dam, or get dropped off sooner for a shorter day.  Your captain will help you choose. Don't forget to tip!
